Nike and LeBron James are back with an all-new sneaker colourway just in time for the return of baseball.
The sports retailer and NBA star reinvent the Nike LeBron 7 silhouette, taking inspiration from a classic 2009 iteration with classic hardball design elements. The Nike LeBron 7 “Baseball Blue” releases April 9 at 10 a.m. via Nike.com for $ 200.
The style retains its iconic high silhouette covered in a wrapped royal blue overlay, echoed throughout the sneaker by the Swoosh logo and see-through midsole. Subtle leaf embossing appears on the overlays with contrasting accents in smooth white leather and translucent panels. Sealed with silver laces, cherry red detailing on the tongue, outsole and L23 logos tie the shoe together.
The sneaker was first modeled by James himself in September 2020 during a Los Angeles Lakers in homage to the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Since they first launched their Air Zoom Generation in 2003, Nike and LeBron James have continued to release shoe after shoe. The LeBron 7 silhouette, in particular, is designed to offer ultimate support thanks to its high tensile Flywire construction and IP foam midsole. A basketball-specific Max Air unit in the heel provides sufficient energy return and shock absorption for perfect performance on and off hardwood.
