As LeBron James and his Los Angeles Lakers team look to successfully defend their NBA title, the Akron kid has apparently slowed releases of his Nike LeBron 18. A kid-exclusive arrangement — complete with graffiti accents — could soon to change that, however.
Flyknit uppers indulge in a mix of purple, pink, and blue, with the older tone reveling in the spotlight. The same palette appears in the airbags throughout the tongue, while the underfoot Air Max unit indulges in a vibrant crimson hue reminiscent of what has appeared on countless summer offerings from NIKE, Inc. Elsewhere, the color palette gets tamed by applying black and white to molded structures in the heel and midsole cushioning. The underfoot tread deviates from most of the aforementioned colors in favor of an Ice Blue finish from midfoot to forefoot. Graffiti detailing appears briefly on the insoles, along with the text ‘JAMES GANG’.
an official Nike.com the release date is unknown, but this LeBron 18 might launch in early 2021. In any case, enjoy a first look at the kids’ shoes below.
