Perfect timing as usual, the low form of this season’s signature LeBron model showed up around All-Star Weekend. That would be the Nike LeBron 19 Low, revealed via official images in the standard white/black/red colorway that has stuck with the LeBron shoe line since its inception in 2003. As LeBron returns to Cleveland, host city of the 2022 All – Star Game, the LeBron 19 Low will most certainly make an appearance either during the Media Day of the exhibition game, or even the game itself.
This first look at the Nike LeBron 19 Low goes way back in time through the use of leather overlays. Most of LeBron’s signature shoes have leaned towards lightweight synthetics and innovative fabrics, but we’re glad to see the old-school style construction shows through in the molded toe and elongated heel. The upper booster features a mesh-like shroud that covered the inner bootie. On the tongue is the lion crest symbol with LeBron’s crown insignia just above it.
Typically, the LeBron Low features a reductive form of the main model. The LeBron 19 Low features dual-chamber Air in the heel only, while full-length basketball-specific React foam provides additional support. Although the technical specifications have not been revealed, it is possible that they will also have a zoom in the forefoot.
A release date has not been confirmed, but LeBron Lows usually arrive at the start of the summer season (April/May) and sell for less than the signature model. We’ll let you know when we know more, but for now, check out the official images.
