Prior to the unique circumstances that shaped the NBA playoff season last year, LeBron James made a tradition of turning off his social media to bring his “A” game to hardwood. While this “Zero Dark 23” ritual is being retired and King James is not currently in the playoffs, the practice has had a decent run. He debuted in 2013 and LeBron has reached six straight NBA Finals since. In addition, a triple black Nike LeBron would fall every year as an ode to routine. The sneaker releases continue with another Nike LeBron 18 Low “Zero Dark 23” regardless.
A riff from the movie title “Zero Dark Thirty”, this offering covers the lightweight textile upper in black, in which the zigzag and diagonal decals follow suit. The aforementioned decals alternate between glossy and matte finishes to add dimension while the profile Swooshes are concealed with a jet black coloring. As usual, the base sits atop a Nike React infused sole that sees an Air unit in the heel. The monochrome look is complemented by insoles that feature space flight symbols, a possible reference to LeBron’s involvement in the upcoming “Space Jam” movie.
Take a closer look at the LeBron 18 Low below, which is coming soon to Nike.com with a price tag of $ 160.
