Nike LeBron 18 “Black / Red” release date and information

Black and red colourways are part of LeBron James’ signature Nike since the 2003 Air Zoom generation, has accompanied him throughout his stay with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat and Los Angeles Lakers, and now arrives on his LeBron 18 Low. Following on from LeBron 18’s first ‘Fireberry’ makeup, this blend of black and red brings some familiarity to a new figure while providing a no-frills look for spring and summer hoops.

The synthetic uppers are dressed almost entirely in black, with pops of red relegated to the signature tongue, throat loops, and part of the heel crown logo. A white border appears on the side quarter cut Swoosh, and a debossed Swoosh on the medial side of the heel provides additional branding. The sealed seams in shiny black provide a tone-on-tone contrast to the flat black tint used on the rest of the upper, and if you look into the collar you’ll see a yellow Dunkman-style badge on the red insoles.

The midsoles feature a red heel Air unit similar to the standard LeBron 18, but tuck it under an elongated plastic heel clip. The forefoot also diverges from its counterpart, replacing Zoom Air cushioning with soft React foam. The outsoles combine a sheer heel with a black forefoot to complete the look.

The Nike LeBron 18 Low in black and red is currently available at select international Nike Basketball retailers and is expected to arrive at the US Nike online store and Foot Locker on March 11. MSRP is set at $ 160 USD.
