Kyrie Irving’s latest Nike signature sneaker will hit stores this month.
The Swoosh today announced that two iterations of the NBA star’s new basketball shoe, the Kyrie 4, will hit stores and its SNKRS app in December. The âConfettiâ colourway is leading the way, arriving in some stores tonight.
The âConfettiâ style, according to Nike, is inspired by the last game of the 2017 NBA Finals, when he and his former team, the Cleveland Cavaliers, fell to the Golden State Warriors. Nike said Irving was carrying a piece of confetti from the last game as “a reminder of what it was like not to come out on top.”

The Nike Kyrie 4 “Confetti” drops in four House of Hoops stores (Boston, Cambridge, Mass., Harlem, NY and Wayne, NJ) tonight. A release via SNKRS and select Nike retailers will follow on Saturday.
After the release of “Confetti” there is the “Black / White” look, which will be released on December 20th.

The shoe is designed by Benjamin Nethongkome, who according to Nike sought to make the Kyrie 4 well cushioned and make it faster on the corners of the silhouette. To do this, it used a Cushlon midsole, Zoom Air unit in the heel, and flexible zigzag grooves on the outsole, which wraps around the foot and has a hooked sidewall.
